Meet Our Dentists
John G. Hartmann, DDS
Dr. Hartmann received his Bachelors degree with highest honors from Elmhurst College majoring in Biology. From there he went to dental school at Loyola University and graduated in 1980.
He received additional training in a general practice residency program also at Loyola Medical Center. This program provided advanced training in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry as well as anesthesiology and treating medically and mentally compromised patients. He has also had experience treating geriatric patients and was the attending dentist at several nursing homes.
Dr. Hartmann has a wife and three adult children. His interests include fishing, hunting, boating and scuba diving and enjoys all forms of outdoor activities.
James V. Hudson, DDS
Dr. James Hudson received his Bachelors degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 1976. He then attended Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, graduating in 1980.
Dr. Hudson has been practicing full-time clinical dentistry for 41 years and is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. In addition, he is ranked as a top Chicago dentist in Checkbook Magazine.
Dr. Hudson has five children, six grandchildren, and is still active in many outdoor activities. He also loves to play golf.
James W. Griesbach, DDS
Dr. Griesbach received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul University of Chicago, Illinois in 1978. He then attended Loyola University School of Dentistry, from which he graduated in 1982.
Following dental school, he went on to complete a General Practice Residency in advanced dental and medical studies at Loyola University Medical center. From 1983 to 1985 he was an associate professor of clinical research at Loyola University Dental School. In addition to the private practice of general dentistry, Dr. Griesbach serves as a consultant for the dental insurance industry.

Nour Issa, DDS
Born and raised in the Southside of Chicago, Dr. Nour completed her training at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Nour graduated in the top 5% with summa cum laude honors.
Dr. Nour was awarded the American College of Prosthodontists Award for her outstanding achievement in the study of prosthodontics and the Award of Excellence. She was also awarded the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence by Omicron Kappa Upsilon, where she was later nominated and accepted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Nour is a published author with her research on oral cancer being featured on the cover page of the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry. Her work has been presented at the 99th General Session of the lADR, the 50th Meeting of the AADR, the 45th meeting of the CADR, the Hinman Research Symposium where she also served as a chair, and the 157th Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting. Dr. Nour continues to be active in her research.
While Dr. Nour provides comprehensive care in all areas of dentistry, her niche resides in fixed prosthodontics.
